Meghan Trainor's debut record has reached No.1 in Australia.

The singer is beginning to unleash her first album 'Title' around the globe and it has achieved chart success in Australia.

It shifted enough copies to hold off competition from the likes of Taylor Swift's '1989'.

The record is also expected to topple Swift in the US this week.

'Title' meanwhile will be released in the UK on January 26.

The US singer today (January 19) also confirmed plans to tour the UK in April.
