Meghan Trainor says her writing and recording session with Harry Styles was "unbelievable".

The singer has revealed that she has worked with the One Direction man on a new track.

The song is called 'Someday Maybe' and Trainor told BBC Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw that she was impressed by Styles' talent.

The 'All About That Bass' star said: "Yes, I wrote a song with Harry.

"It was unbelievable - he's a very, very talented songwriter. I was very impressed."

The US star added that she does not know if the song will be released or not.

Trainor meanwhile had earlier distanced herself from romance speculation with Styles, telling The Sun:

"No, definitely not - we're good friends.

"But I adore all the One Direction boys. Every time I meet them, I'm like: 'Hi, you're all perfect'. But they're One Direction, and I'm just a girl from Massachusetts. Plus, I can't date another pop star. They're all too busy."
