Meghan Trainor on Harry Styles duet: 'I had no idea he knew I existed'

'All About That Bass' beauty Meghan Trainor recently confessed that she collaborated with Harry Styles on a track and has revealed that it's a 'great' song.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper about the unlikely duet, the songstress admitted that she was surprised to learn that he even knew who she was

"I had no idea he knew I existed and apparently he was a fan and one of our agents hooked us up and got us a session and we just wrote one evening. It was unbelievable he's a very, very talented songwriter. I was very impressed. I've got it on my phone. It's great; I listen to it all the time ... I'm trying to write with every person from every genre... but I wanna show people I could do a country song, I can do a ukulele song and then an 'All About That Bass' throwback song."

As previously reported, Trainor explained that she isn't looking to date Styles because the thought of being romantically involved with another pop star is stressful:

"No, definitely not - we're good friends. But I adore all the One Direction boys. Every time I meet them, I'm like: 'Hi, you're all perfect'. But they're One Direction, and I'm just a girl from Massachusetts. Plus, I can't date another pop star. They're all too busy."
