Actress and writer Lena Dunham has opened up about what it's like to be friends with country-pop superstar Taylor Swift and confessed that it's amazing. 

During a new interview with Time Out London, the 'GIRLS' star explained that Swift is incredibly supportive and generally wonderful to be around: “She’s funny, talented, kind… she’s a good cook. I would recommend it [being friends with Taylor] to anyone... She smells great."

Back in November, the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' songstress shared similar feelings for Dunham and described her as 'the type of woman I want to be': "They are the most important things to me right now. Ella (Lorde) and Lena both represent the type of woman I want to be."

"Ella and I might be in the same job but we don't see each other as anything but two female friends. The type of girls I hang out with are strong and know their own mind. But we don't see each other that often as we work so hard. But when we get together it's worth the wait."
