Canadian singer Shawn Mendes has announced details of a special headlining tour that will take him from North America to Europe. 

The heartthrob confirmed details via his official Twitter page and revealed that the jaunt will kick off in Stockholm, Sweden on February 23. He will then visit Germany, France, and the UK before travelling to the USA where he will resume the dates. The final concert is set to take place in Anaheim, California on April 22. 

The rising star took to social media page and revealed that he is especially looking forward to the European dates of his tour: "Stockholm, Berlin, Paris, & London I'm so excited to see u all! I'll also be in some more cities when I'm over there, stay tuned for info!"

Mendes' manager, Andrew Gertler, told followers that: "Tickets for the @ShawnMendes U.S. tour dates will be around $30 and they include a copy of Shawn's album."

Earlier this week, British pop-rock band The Vamps praised Mendes for being such a talented performer: "Very cool. He's a lovely kid and we met him on the Austin Mahone tour. He's really nice, he's got a great voice - really talented - and he's kind of like us."
