Shawn Mendes has confirmed details of his first album.

The Canadian will unleash 'Handwritten' on April 27 in the UK via Virgin.

It will be available to pre-order from February 3 and a special book version of the album will be on sale.

Those who pre-order will receive a download of Mendes' new track 'A Little Too Much'.

The 16-year-old meanwhile will play the Garage in London on March 4.

Speaking on Twitter recently about his upcoming tour, Mendes wrote:

"Stockholm, Berlin, Paris, & London I'm so excited to see u all! I'll also be in some more cities when I'm over there, stay tuned for info!"
