Death Row Records founder Suge Knight has been charged with murder after allegedly being involved in a hit and run.

The music man's lawyer confirmed last week that Knight had handed himself into police after apparently killing one man and injuring another whilst trying to escape attackers in the car park of a Los Angeles fast-food restaurant.

Lawyer James Blatt said that it was an unfortunate accident and that his client should be "totally exonerated" once the investigation has been concluded.

However, Knight has now been charged with murder and he will face arraignment in court today (February 3).

His bail has also now been revoked, with Knight's lawyer saying on Monday (February 2):

"It was at $2.2 million and just a few minutes ago it was changed to 'no bail'. I am working now to see what has happened."
