Beck has won the Album of the Year Grammy.

The US musician beat off the likes of Beyoncé and Sam Smith to land the prize.

He won the award at Sunday's (February 8) event for his 2014 effort 'Morning Phase'.

Beck's acceptance speech say Kanye West attempt to crash the stage as a joke to honour Beyoncé.

However, the musician laughed along and told the rapper to come back on stage.

Beck's 'Morning Phase' also won the Best Rock Album prize.
