Nathan Sykes on Ariana Grande split: 'I don't hold grudges and I took positive things from it'

Former The Wanted star Nathan Sykes recently admitted that he wrote a song about breaking up with Ariana Grande for his upcoming solo album, and he has now teased that it's quite a supportive track.

Speaking to MTV News about the song in question, the heartthrob explained that he has no bad feelings towards Grande and he made sure the lyrics were complimentary and positive:

"I'm one of those really annoying people for exes, like, I don't hold grudges whatsoever. And I am one of the people who only takes really positive experiences from relationships and moves forward with it. So it's a really nice song even though it is quite heartbreaking."

The hitmaker went onto add that with break-ups, it's important to try and remain level headed because anger is destructive: "It's got a really nice message with it. It's just the song that [says] you can't be angry at any situation because sometimes things just don't work out and you've just got to roll with it and move on."
