Nathan Sykes confirms possible Sam Smith collaboration

Nathan Sykes has revealed that it is likely he will work with Sam Smith.

The former Wanted man has now gone solo and he will release his debut album later this year.

The record is set to showcase a soulful side to Sykes and it seems he may work with Smith in the future.

The Brit told E!: "We've spoken about going into the studio before and I think it's quite likely going to happen over the next year. It'll be insane. I think it'll be such a great opportunity to create something really cool.

"Sam Smith at the Grammys was just insane. I've been listening to a lot of Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and I'm living in hope for this Adele album. So, yes, I am quite biased toward the Brits."

Sykes' first single meanwhile is due to be released in the spring.
