Queen's Brian May praises Adam Lambert's 'evolution': 'He was born to do this and grew into the part'

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert has been touring as the frontman of Queen for a while now and original guitarist Brain May has praised the growth he's seen in the superstar.

During an interview with muzyka.onet recently, the iconic guitarist explained that he has watched Lambert grow into an incredible performer and one that fully embodies the spirit of the late Freddie Mercury:

"Adam has really transformed, I must say. And, he shares that with Freddie. Freddie was always good, but he transformed himself from a singer who could do this or this into this really sort of god-like performer. Adam is the same. He’s really evolved, hugely. He’s much more comfortable in his shoes. He’s much more confident with an audience. In fact, it is like he was born to it. He’s grown into the part.”

Queen and Adam Lambert are currently wrapping up their European concerts and are due to perform tonight (February 17) in Prague. The supergroup will then head to Zurich (February 19), Krakow (February 21), and onto London, Liverpool and Sheffield.
