Led Zeppelin lead midweek No.1 Official Albums Chart in first update to incorporate audio streams and sales

Iconic rock band Led Zeppelin have shot into the midweek albums chart at No.1 this afternoon (February 25) with 'Physical Graffiti'.

This Sunday's chart will be the very first to reflect audio streaming of albums from the likes of services such as Spotify, Deezer, Google Play, Napster, O2 Tracks, Xbox Music, Rdio and Rara, and Led Zeppelin have overtaken Sam Smith's 'In The Lonely Hour' with a combined sales and streaming lead of less than 1,700 copies.

The Official Charts Company confirms that Ed Sheeran’s 'X' is at No.3, and Chris Brown vs Tyga’s 'Fan Of A Fan The Album' is new in at No.4. U.S. rap sensation Big Sean is on course for the highest-charting album of his career with 'Dark Sky Paradise' at 18 and Falling In Reverse's 'Just Like You' makes an appearance at No..37.
