The highly anticipated line-up for this year's V Festival has finally been announced and it sees the likes of Calvin Harris, Stereophonics, Kasabian and Sam Smith confirmed for headlining slots. 

2014's event was headlined by The Killers and Justin Timberlake, but it seems that this summer will be an even bigger musical extravaganza with the addition of Hozier, Ellie Goulding, Paloma Faith, The Script, Olly Murs, Tom Jones, and CHVRCHES to the bill. 

The event is set to take place over the weekend of August 22-23 at both Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in South Staffordshire, and tickets for 2015's V Festival will officially go on sale at 9am on Friday, March 6. Also joining the festival's line-up are 'Budapest' singer George Ezra, Jess Glynne, The Kooks, Clean Bandit, Jessie Ware, Labrinth, Marina & the Diamonds, Nero, and The Proclaimers.
