Rita Ora: 'I've been told 'no' so many times in my career'

Songstress Rita Ora has opened up about dealing with being told no over the years and revealed that she has managed to 'build herself up' from the negativity.

During a new interview with InStyle magazine, the beauty explained that she's become so used to rejection where her career is concerned that she has channelled that into positive energy that she now puts back into her projects:

"I've been told 'no' so many times in my career. It doesn't mean it's over…"

Ora admitted that she will never forget the doors that have closed in her face, but uses those images as inspirations to push herself forward and prove people wrong: "I can remember every single 'no' I've been told in my life. They do not leave my brain. But they build you up."

She went onto talk about being offered her judging role on 'The Voice' and confessed that she initially turned it down:

"I love the show, but I wanted to focus on my second album. And then I spoke to Will, and he said, 'Listen, if you don't do it, I won't do it', It's actually the best decision I've made. It's so fun. I love it. I'm learning a lot about myself, being a coach. I'm starting to trust my instincts. When you're sitting in that chair, you can't ask what anyone thinks, you just have to do it."
