Songstress Samantha Jade, who has been supporting One Direction on tour, has opened up about life on the road with the heartthrobs in a new interview with press at the ASTRA Awards in Sydney. 

Speaking about hanging out with the 'Story Of My Life' superstars on a daily basis, the Aussie beauty described them as "lovely": "They were lovely. I've been getting a lot of calls from my female friends saying 'Oh my God, tell me stories! Tell me stories!'"

Jade then added that nothing crazy has happened on tour so far because they're all such hard workers that their energy is put back in to the shows: "We were working so there's not many crazy stories… Me and Niall are good friends."
