Noel Gallagher and Paolo Nutini will play at this year's Summer in the City festival in Manchester.

The Oasis man and his High Flying Birds group will play the Castlefield Bowl on July 11.

Nutini will perform at the outdoor venue on July 2.

Other acts due to perform at the festival include Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott and the Charlatans.

Tickets for the Gallagher, Nutini and Charlatans gigs will go on sale from 9am UK time on Friday (March 20).

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds meanwhile released their latest album 'Chasing Yesterday' earlier this month.
