Taylor Swift and 5 Seconds of Summer win at iHeartRadio Music Awards

Taylor Swift was the big winner at this year's iHeartRadio Music Awards.

The ceremony, which took place on Sunday (March 29) in Los Angeles, celebrated the best in mainstream music.

Swift won the Artist of the Year prize, as well as the Song gong for her track 'Shake It Off'.

Her tune 'Blank Space' meanwhile also bagged the Best Lyrics award.

The US star thanked her fans whilst accepting the Artist award, saying:

"I'm so proud of the fact that having done this for ten years now, we've gotten closer and closer with each year, not further apart."

5 Seconds of Summer won the Best Fan Army prize whilst Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj's 'Bang Bang' won Best Collaboration.

Hozier's 'Take Me To Church' bagged the Alternative Rock Song of the Year award, Calvin Harris' 'Summer' won Dance Song of the Year and Brantley Gilbert was named this year's Renegade.

Sam Smith was named Best New Artist, whilst Justin Timberlake was honoured with the special Innovator Award.
