Fifth Harmony believe Zayn Malik leaving One Direction represents the "end of an era".

The singer bowed out of the pop group last week in order to live a more normal life.

Speaking to ET, Fifth Harmony star Lauren Jauregui said that they support Malik's decision.

She revealed: "We're saddened, you know.

"Like Camila [Cabello] always says, it's the end of an era. One Direction was a huge phenomenon but we definitely 110 percent respect Zayn and his decision because health and happiness come first, always."

When asked if anyone should replace Malik, the girls shouted "nobody".

Cabello added: "One Direction will always be One Direction."
