Nile Rodgers believes Adam Lambert has worked with the "biggest producer in the world" on his new album.

The singer will release his third record 'The Original High' later this year and it has been produced by Max Martin and Shellback.

Speaking exclusively to Pressparty at a press brunch in London recently, Rodgers - who has previously collaborated with Adam Lambert - praised the production team.

When asked if has worked with the US vocalist on his new album, the Chic guitarist said:

"Will I be working on Adam's new album? I don't think so...

"He's with the biggest producer in the world right now."

Rodgers worked with Lambert on his 2012 album 'Trespassing', whilst the duo also teamed up for the Avicii track 'Lay Me Down'.
