Jess Glynne remains at No. 1 on UK singles chart for a third week

Jess Glynne has seen off some serious competition to remain at the top of the UK chart with her hit single ‘Hold My Hand’.

Now enjoying her third consecutive week at No. 1, the British vocalist has prevented The Voice winner Stevie McCrorie and Nick Jonas from taking the top spot.

‘Hold My Hand’ received a sales boost from 1.74 million streams this week and finished 5000 copies ahead of Nick Jonas’ ‘Jealous’ which has surged from No. 113 to No. 2.

Up one to No. 3 is Years & Years with ‘King’. James Bay is down one to No. 4 with ‘Hold Back The River’. Completing the Top Five is ‘Bloodstream’ by Ed Sheeran, down three to No. 5.

Despite being the lead release in the mid-week chart count, The Voice victor, Steve McCrorie, has debuted at No. 6 with his cover of Adam Levine’s ‘Lost Stars’.

Other new entries to this week’s Top 40 come from Pep & Rash at No. 17 with ‘Rumors’, Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth are new in at No. 22 with ‘See You Again’, - based on streaming date alone – and Meghan Trainor’s ‘Dear Future Husband’ is at No. 40.
