All Time Low score their first No. 1 UK album

American pop-rock band All Time Low have made it to the top of the UK album chart for the first time.

The group’s sixth LP, ‘Future Hearts’, has debuted at No. 1 with 19,400 copies sold in the past seven days and just narrowly beat James Bay to the top by a slim 278 units.

Bay’s ‘Chaos and The Calm’ has had to settle as a non-mover at No. 2.

‘X’ by Ed Sheeran is up one to No. 3 this week. Sam Smith’s ‘In The Lonely Hour’ is down one to No. 4. Last week’s No. 1 album from The Prodigy, ‘The Day Is My Enemy’, has now slipped to No. 5.

As well as All Time Low, there are a further nine new entries to the Top 40 album chart.

New in at No. 14 are ‘Drenge’ with ‘Undertow’ and Brian Wilson’s ‘No Pier Pressure’ has landed at No. 25.

Albums that have re-entered the chart include The Script’s ‘No Sound Without Silence’ at No. 23, Ellie Goulding’s ‘Halcyon’ at No. 34, Drake’s ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’ at No. 37, Rebecca Ferguson’s ‘Lady Sings The Blues’ at No. 38, and Michael Jackson’s 1982 classic ‘Thriller’ at No. 39.
