Halestorm score midweek No.1 album in the UK with 'Into The Wild Life'

Pennsylvanian four-piece Halestorm are currently leading the way on today’s Official Midweek Chart Update with their third studio album 'Into The Wild Life'.

This is the band's follow-up offering to their 2012’s 'The Strange Case Of…' and it will be their first UK Top 40 charting record. Halestorm are currently only 351 sales ahead of their nearest competitor, which is The Wombats with their third LP 'Glitterbug'.

There are a total of 9 other new entries on the UK Top 40 albums chart update this afternoon and Shawn Mendes has made an appearance at No.8 with his debut album 'Handwritten', Shayne Ward lands at No.12 with his first album in nearly five years, 'Closer', and Lulu debuts at No.30 with 'Making Life Rhyme'.
