Christopher Minafo, who is a New York University art student, painted an incredibly realistic likeness of Beyoncé on a canvas taller than he is.

The impressive and realistic painting took him over 60 hours across a period of 14 days to complete and he caught the process on video. 

Speaking about the ambitious project to the Huffington Post, the artist explained that he chose to focus on the 'Halo' superstar because she has been a huge inspiration to him:

"Since this was the biggest project I’ve taken on thus far I wanted to make sure I got the entire thing on video, so I could share my process with anyone that was curious. The painting is really meant to be a thank-you for all the times Beyoncé’s music has made my day that much better.”
