Sufjan Stevens has announced a series of UK and Ireland tour dates.

The singer-songwriter will visit the countries in August and September.

The run will come in support of Stevens' 2015 album 'Carrie and Lowell'.

Among the tour are dates at London's Royal Festival Hall and a show at Salisbury's End of the Road festival.

Tickets for the gigs will go on sale from Thursday (April 23). Check out the full schedule below:

• Monday, August 31 - Manchester, Apollo
• Wednesday, September 2 - London, Royal Festival Hall

• Friday, September 4 - Brighton, Dome
• Saturday, September 5 - Salisbury, End of the Road festival
• Sunday, September 6 - Bristol, Colston Hall
