Frank Ocean has changed his legal name.

The musician was given the title Christopher Edwin Breaux at birth.

However, he has used the name Frank Ocean in public life.

TMZ have confirmed that on Thursday (April 23) the US star officially changed his legal name to Frank Ocean.

Ocean meanwhile will release his new album in July.

It will follow up his 2012 effort 'Channel Orange'.
