Taylor Swift: 'My follow up album to '1989' will be creatively different'

Singer Taylor Swift has opened up about her potential plans for the next album she will write.

The beauty is currently hot on the promotional trail for her latest offering, '1989', and is gearing up to kick off her world tour on May 5, but she has revealed that when she does start work on a new record it will be 'very different' to everything before.

She told Entertainment Tonight: "I'm not making the next record yet, that's going to take a lot of thinking about what that should be. With '1989', I love this album so much that I think it'd be doing a real disservice to try and copy it the next time around. I think it's going to have to be something very different, creatively."

Swift recently told Glamour magazine that her songwriting is true to who she is and every artist has a different focus: "You know, everybody has different priorities as an artist…Every woman has different things that make them feel strong and powerful. For me, I don’t have any need or urge to write about overt sexuality. It just never occurs to me. I appreciate girls who sing about whatever they want, because that’s what they want to sing about.”
