Actress Jennette McCurdy, who rose to fame starring alongside Ariana Grande in Nickelodeon's 'Sam & Cat', has revealed that she has a close bond with her former co-star and they often text each other to catch up. 

During a new interview with The Insider, the actress admitted that there is genuinely no rift between her and Grande and they keep in touch regularly: "She just gave me a book recommendation that I'm almost done with. And then we text probably like once a week to kind of catch up and see what's going on."

McCurdy, meanwhile, has just been signed up to star in the forthcoming Netflix offering, entitled 'Between', and she admitted that Grande has been very supportive of it, adding: "She told me she can’t wait to watch it."
