Ryan Gosling has uploaded a video of himself eating cereal to pay tribute to a Vine star who has died.

The actor was the subject of Ryan McHenry's popular Vine series Ryan Gosling Won’t Eat His Cereal.

The clips saw McHenry hold a spoon of cereal in front of snippets of Gosling before he turns away from it.

The Scot, however, died at the weekend aged 27 after battling bone cancer.

Gosling paid tribute to McHenry by uploading a Vine video of himself finally eating cereal.

He added on Twitter: "My heart goes out to all of Ryan McHenry's family and friends. Feel very lucky to have been apart of his life in some small way."
