Foxes says her next single will be released "very soon".

The singer opened up about her new material in an interview with Digital Spy.

Speaking about when her next batch of music will land, the British star said:

"The first single, I'm going to be releasing very soon - in summer.

"Then the album's going to be autumn so I'm just wrapping everything up now. It's going to be strange coming out of the studio and singing new songs live, but I can't wait."

Talking meanwhile about some of her inspirations, Foxes added:

"I always get really inspired by film. I remember seeing Interstellar and I'm a really big fan of Hans Zimmer, who scored Interstellar. I love the '70s horror vibe of what he does so weirdly

"I was watching old '70s horror because they've got really great piano and strings that run through them. And then actually I watched What's Love Got to Do with It, which is really funny but I love her soul voice and I love the emotion behind that kind of thing. I usually get inspired by film or having emotional crashes in a way because they tend to bring emotion out, which helps."
