Hot Chocolate singer Errol Brown has died at 71Errol Brown, known for being the singer of iconic band Hot Chocolate, has died at the age of 71 after battling liver cancer. The star enjoyed a string of hits in the Seventies and Eighties with tracks such as "Everyone's A Winner" and "You Sexy Thing", and Brown's manager, Phil Dale, confirmed the sad news to The Independent earlier today (May 6). Dale described Brown as "a wonderful man" and said: "Errol passed away this morning with his family. There was always music around wherever he was. I've been with him in the middle of Australia and he has got an idea for a song and started writing." He was born Lester Errol Brown in Kingston, Jamaica and married his wife Ginette back in 1974.
