Kevin Jonas suffered from depression after Jonas Brothers split

Former Jonas Brothers member Kevin Jonas has revealed that he suffered from depression shortly after the group disbanded back in 2013

Speaking to New York City's Z100 about the end of the Jonas Brothers' career, he explained that it was really tough to deal with as it was a big part of his life and spanned over his formative years so the transition was a hard one.

Kevin admitted that he really struggled to cope with the change: "Notice how when the Jonas Brothers went dark, we went dark. We didn't do a single interview, we didn't talk to anybody, we just went dark. I just got really depressed for a while. There's a mourning process."

He went onto add that he isn't jealous of his brother Nick's success and is proud that he's doing so well with his solo material: "I don't know how many times I literally hear this. It's the worst pun in the world from some idiotic frat guy. It's like, 'You must be 'Jealous' of Nick!'... Constantly! It's like, why? He's doing his thing. I'm doing mine! He's happy. I'm happy."
