LunchMoney Lewis talks about Gwen Stefani's new album

Songwriter and artist LunchMoney Lewis has revealed that Gwen Stefani's forthcoming new record is sounding fresh.

He dropped into the On Air with Ryan studios this morning (May 8) and the 27-year-old explained that he has been sharing studio time with the No Doubt beauty:

"She’s working on a new album and it sounds really dope. It’s crazy and she brought me in to collaborate with her and create some good energy."

The hitmaker went onto add that her new album will sound different to her existing material, but fans will still be able recognise her signature style: "She’s amazing. [The album] is really fun. It’s like new Gwen and a taste of what we love from her. I just tried to add my little two cents."

Back in February, Stefani opened up about her passion for songwriting and confessed that it's something she finds cathartic: "When I realised I could write songs, I felt much stronger. Prior to that, I invested all my energy in my relationships. But to put all my energy into something I created changed me in the best way possible."
