UK sensation James Corden, who is currently in Los Angeles presenting America's well loved 'The Late Late Show', has praised Mariah Carey for being so fun and relatable during her time on the programme, which saw her singing along to her own songs in a car.

Speaking to British gossip magazine Heat, the host explained that the whole point of the feature is to show people just how ordinary celebrities really are:

"The great thing about [our] Carpool Karaoke [feature] is that once they're in the car, it's just the two of us. It's that intimate. She was fantastic. With someone like her, who's such a megastar, you almost forget she's human and we really showed the human side of her. It was so much fun."

Carey, meanwhile, was recently added to the line-up of performers at this year's Billboard Music Awards, which is due to take place on May 17 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
