Becky G on boyfriend Austin Mahone: 'In such a happy place'

'Shower' sensation Becky G has gushed about boyfriend Austin Mahone in a new interview and revealed that their relationship is keeping her in 'a good place'.

Speaking to E! News at the premiere of 'Tomorrowland' in Los Angeles, the beauty explained that she is currently really enjoying her life and is feeling incredibly happy with how everything is going: "I'm so excited. I think it's really awesome that my fans have been so supportive along this journey and especially right now."

"I'm in such a happy, good place. I think everybody can see that and I think it's cool that I get to share that part."

"I've known him for such a long time... We started off as really great friends and we'd always check in on each other…and we'd always get in the studio together. You grow up, things happen and here we are."

Mahone, meanwhile, previously dated Fifth Harmony's Camila Cabello and told MTV News recently that he never experienced a real relationship until getting together with Becky G: "[Becky G and I are] dating. I've never had, like, a real relationship before so it's pretty crazy. It's great being in a relationship with someone that does the same thing you do. We understand each other, we understand what we do."
