Louis Walsh: 'I'd have sacked 1D for airing dirty laundry in public'

Irish music mogul Louis Walsh has slammed One Direction for their recent handling of social media.

Walsh was referring to Naughty Boy's Twitter spat with Louis Tomlinson, which saw former 1D member Zayn Malik wade in and criticise Tomlinson for getting involved, and told Britain's The Mirror that he would never allow any of his acts to 'air dirty laundry in public' because it's unprofessional and inappropriate:

“I would have given them a good b**locking – they would know never to do anything like that. I would probably sack them. You don’t air your dirty laundry in public. Simon made this band. They would be nowhere without Simon Cowell."

Walsh added that the heartthrobs would't have a career if it wasn't for Simon Cowell's business sense to put them together as a band: "Let’s get that straight. He put them together, he pressed the buttons, he made it happen. Without Simon they’d be nothing.”
