Louis Walsh: 'Niall Horan will do well, but Harry Styles is 1D's star'

Irish music mogul Louis Walsh has revealed that he thinks One Direction's Harry Styles will probably be next to quit as he's likely to head off in pursuit of a movie career

During a new interview with The Mirror, Walsh explained that Styles has the most superstar potential in the boyband and he believes he will go far once he leaves the group:

“Harry’s a star. He will be a global star and I think he’s going to do movies. He’s got the ambition, the talent and the drive. He knows how to work the room and he’s nice to everybody. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Harry. Niall will do well, but Harry is the star.”

"They have to know that, I mean come on. Every night it’s all about Harry. If they were the Rolling Stones he is Mick Jagger. He is the star, he is the focal point. They’ve all got their roles and fan bases."

As previously reported, Walsh admitted that he didn't like the way Louis Tomlinson entered into a public spat with Naughty Boy and would have fired One Direction if they were under his management for behaving that way: “I would have given them a good b**locking – they would know never to do anything like that. I would probably sack them. You don’t air your dirty laundry in public. Simon made this band. They would be nowhere without Simon Cowell."
