Neil Finn approves of Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande cover

Crowded House's Neil Finn has praised a Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande cover of one of the band's songs.

The two singers teamed up for a live version of the group's 1986 effort 'Don't Dream It's Over'.

The video was released to promote Cyrus's new charity venture The Happy Hippie Foundation.

Finn was asked about the cover by Billboard, with the singer and musician saying:

"What a life that song has had. I’m happy to see them enjoying it so much, and I hope it inspires some donations to a good cause.”

The foundation meanwhile focuses on homelessness, LGBT rights and other "vulnerable" people.
