Brandon Flowers to sign copies of 'The Desired Effect' in HMV

Musician Brandon Flowers has announced details of a signing that will take place at HMV in London to celebrate the release of his new solo studio album, 'The Desired Effect'.

He will be in store on Friday, May 22 at 1.30pm and there will be 300 wristbands available for access to the event and they can be picked up the store on Oxford Street on a first-come first-served basis. The superstar is also set to tour the UK in support of the record and his schedule can be seen in full below.

Flowers, meanwhile, recently spoke about The Killers and what his band is doing where new music is concerned and said: "There are a couple of remarks made by Dave [Keuning], our guitar player, that made it sound a little bit more ominous than it really was. And so it makes people wonder. But, no, everything is fine."

"I've been talking to Dave and he hasn't sounded this excited about making music in a long time. So that, in turn, makes me excited. I feel like when he's at his best, and when we're all collaborating, is when the Killers are at their best, and that's what we really need. I've said it before – I think we need a little bit of a kick in the pants, and hopefully it's coming."
