Queen would have considered Glastonbury if Adam Lambert had been free

Iconic rock band Queen have spent the past couple of years touring with Adam Lambert as their frontman and guitarist Brian May has now revealed that they would have considered performing at Glastonbury if the 'Ghost Town' sensation was available.

May told BANG Showbiz that because Lambert is currently focusing on his own career, summer festival slots weren't an option, but Queen would definitely have put themselves forward if their full line-up had been possible to secure:

"No probably not (playing Glastonbury this year). Look these things get put on the table, it would be interesting to do Glastonbury if we were an operational unit at the time. You see this year Adam's off doing his solo work at the moment so it wouldn't have worked. You only look at things that are possible logistically at the time."

Lambert, meanwhile, has a collaboration on his upcoming new album 'The Original High' with Brian May. The track is called 'Lucy' and he told Billboard that it's a really exciting project: "For the Queen fans out there that saw the tour. Brian May is on one of the (new album's) tracks, playing guitar on a song called 'Lucy'… I played him the demo and he was like 'Oh, I love this, I have some ideas.' So he came in with all this great stuff to contribute. It was really exciting."
