Demi Lovato opens up about how she handles anxiety

'Really Don't Care' songstress Demi Lovato has opened up about how she deals with anxiety in a new interview with the Huffington Post.

The beauty explained that when she feels anxious or low, she turns to creativity as an outlet and finds it really helpful if she can paint or meditate

"I talk to the people around me, like the people on my team. I vocalise a lot of what I need and they're very understanding. I'm very grateful for that."

"Exercising is another way I deal with anxiety. Painting, and writing music and expressing myself through art are other ways that I can release emotions. Meditation is another one. Whatever it is, it's important to find what works for you."

Lovato went onto add that she also relies on her long-term boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, for emotional support when things get rough: "The first call I make is my boyfriend. He calms me down and makes me feel so much better."
