Rixton unsure about Adam Lambert single: 'It sounds nothing like him'

Rixton admit they aren't too keen on Adam Lambert's new single.

The singer is unleashing the track 'Ghost Town' on June 14 as the first cut from upcoming album 'The Original High'.

The Official Charts Company tasked Rixton with giving their thoughts on this month's new singles and Lambert's effort was included.

However, singer Jake Roche said that he "doesn't like" the track, adding that it has "weird vibe".

He continued: "The beginning bit is lovely, then it goes off and it sounds nothing like him, [The beat drops] where you off to Adam? Come back!"

When asked what he thinks the song is about, Roche replied:

"He mentions Hollywood and James Dean and Elvis Presley - he’s pretty much saying Hollywood is dead. He had hope and a big dream and now it’s just a ghost town."

The band, however, realised that it is a "massive EDM song" and will probably reach the UK top ten.
