1D, James Arthur and Katy Perry in biggest-selling singles of the decade list

The Official Charts Company has revealed the list of the 40 biggest-selling songs of the last decade

As previously reported, Pharrell Williams' 'Happy' took the No.1 spot on the run down, but there are some other impressive entries and pop megastar Katy Perry has two singles on the list (namely 'Firework' at No.28 and 'Roar' at No.27).

One Direction's smash-hit single 'What Makes You Beautiful' is at No.39, James Arthur's 'Impossible' is much higher up at No.12, and Adele's 'Someone Like You' is at No.3 after selling an incredible 1,567,000 copies in the UK since its 2011 release. You can see the full Top 40 below. Other notable entries include Psy's 'Gangnam Style' at No.13, Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky' at 6 (which sold 1,436,000 copies), and John Legend's ballad 'All Of Me' at No.21.

1D, meanwhile, are on their On The Road Again tour and will perform tonight (June 19) in Oslo, Norway at the Ullevaal Stadion before moving onto Sweden and Finland later this month. The extensive run will end on October 31 with a concert at Sheffield's Motorpoint Arena.
