Hilary Duff: 'I'm not bitter about love'

'Sparks' singer Hilary Duff has revealed that despite everything she has been through, she isn't 'bitter' about love.

During a new interview with Z100 radio DJ Elvis Duran, the beauty admitted that she hasn't become jaded where love is concerned, but she is very aware that her schedule at the moment is busier than usual so it's not a priority:

"I'm not bitter about love or anything like that. I'm so busy right now - honestly I don't have time to date and to be building some kind of a relationship. I have a three-year-old, I have a new album, I'm sure you know what it takes to put a record out and make it work, and build a tour and shoot a TV show, all this stuff."

The songstress, who has split from husband Mike Comrie, went onto add: "If it came my way and it was easy, sure I'd be into it but it's not something I'm stressed about."

Duff also recently told the Los Angeles Times that her new record, 'Breathe In. Breathe Out', might be hard for her ex-husband to listen to as it's so personal: "I'm sure it was hard for him to listen to some of the things I'm sharing about him. But that's my job. I'm an artist. He knew that when he married me."
