Frankie Grande criticises Selena Gomez's message in 'Good For You' single

Songstress Selena Gomez recently dropped her new single, 'Good For You', but Frankie Grande (Ariana's brother) has pointed out a problem with the message the track is promoting

In the song, Gomez sings about wanting to look good for someone and wanting to show that person how proud she is to belong to them, but Grande has criticised her for this and uploaded a short video to Snapchat in which he shoots disapproving looks as the chorus plays over the stereo.

In addition to posting the video, which can be seen below, Grande also shared a message via Instagram and told his followers that they should be working on finding self-worth within themselves rather than getting it from outside validation. He writes:

"Look good for yourself and let that inner confidence and self-worth be the thing that attracts and pleases your partner. Attract someone who thinks self-esteem is hot, not someone who likes to be catered and pandered to. Don't show them how proud you are to be theirs, show them how proud you are to be yours."
