David Zowie scores midweek UK No.1 with single 'House Every Weekend'

Rising Kent DJ David Zowie could score a landmark Number 1 this week, as his debut single House Every Weekend is currently on course to top the Official Singles Chart in its first brand new Friday slot.

Club track 'House Every Weekend' by Zowie has leaped an impressive 51 places on today’s Midweek Chart Update following its full download release, having entered the Top 75 last week on streams alone. The song faces tough competition, as Years & Years’ new single 'Shine' is close behind at No.2. and on track to be this week’s highest new entry. 

Girl group Fifth Harmony have shot up an incredible 48 places to sit at No.3 with their amazing single 'Worth It', which features Kid Ink, and it's ikely to become their first UK Top 10 single.

Last week’s chart-topper 'Are You With Me' by Lost Frequencies is at No.4, and Tinie Tempah’s 'Not Letting Go' ft. Jess Glynne completes the Top 5. Outside the Top 10, heartthrob Nathan Sykes lands at No.13 with his debut solo single 'Kiss Me Quick' and Pharrell Williams’ 'Freedom' enters the midweek Top 40 at 35.
