Fifth Harmony on course to score a UK Top 10 album with 'Reflection'

Hitmaking trio Years & Years’ debut album 'Communion' has stormed into the lead on today’s Official Albums Chart Update.

The record is selling phenomenally well and it is currently outselling the rest of the Top 10 combined. Last week’s No.1, 'x' by Ed Sheeran, is down to No.2 and James Bay’s 'Chaos and the Calm' jumps up a place to No.3.

Lionel Richie & The Commodores’ 'The Definitive Collection' is at 4, while Taylor Swift’s '1989' completes the Top 5. U.S. based girl group Fifth Harmony could be scoring a Top 10 with their debut album 'Reflection' this week as it has made an impressive appearance at No.9, and Scottish synth-pop band Prides debut at 14 with their first record, 'The Way Back Up'.

British metal band Cradle of Filth are on course to land their first UK Top 40 album this week with 'Hammer of the Witches', which is currently at No.19, and Birdy’s 'Fire Within' re-enters the Top 40 at 24. The folk singer’s track Wings is currently enjoying a resurgence on the Official Singles Chart thanks to a TV advert for Lloyds Bank. The final positions will be confirmed this coming Friday.
