Canadian sensation Shawn Mendes has slammed puberty for constantly toying with the tones of his voice in a series of Twitter posts. 

The 'Stitches' heartthrob is only 16-years-old and told his followers that he can't wait for his voice to finally settle because as a singer, it's tough when it's always changing: "The day my voice stops changing will be glorious. Ill buy everybody tea. Worst timing ever puberty. Please go away."

Mendes, meanwhile, recently opened up about coming from a small suburb and explained that he likes the fact that he's from a tiny area because it allowed him to let his imagination run wild: "Growing up in a suburban home the world seems so massive to you. It seems like cities are so big and so far away and there’s so much in them. So your imagination runs wild, instead of when you are born in the middle of Manhattan you’d know, like, that this is the biggest city."
