Aston Merrygold on fans: 'They write messages on stones outside my house'

Singer Aston Merrygold, who found fame with JLS, has revealed that he has some amazingly dedicated fans now that he has launched a solo career and they even turn up to his house.

Speaking to Britain's Now magazine recently, the heartthrob explained that fans often leave notes for him outside of his home: "They know where I live - fans knock on my door all the time. They like to write on stones and leave them where my gate is."

When asked if there's any rivalry between himself and the other former JLS members, Merrygold admitted that it's more along the lines of banter than genuine competition: "Not really, but we're all pretty competitive so I'm sure if we all released music on the same day we'd all be like, 'I want to win this'. But we'd just turn it into a banter-fest!"

The star took to his official Twitter page this morning (July 19) and told his followers that they can pre-order his debut single, 'Get Stupid', now: "Just #5daysUntilGetStupid UK release. Pre-order link: http://po.st/iGetStupid #GetStupid mon tues weds thurs FRIDAY."
