Canadian sensation Shawn Mendes is offering one lucky fan the chance to meet him at this year's iHeartRadio Music Festival. 

The 2015 iHeartRadio Music Festival is set to take place in Las Vegas on Saturday, September 19 at the MGM Resorts Village and the company has launched an exciting competition that will give one winner the opportunity to hang out with the 'Stitches' heartthrob.

To be in with a chance of winning, you have to be a resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and at least 21 years of age or older, and you can click here to enter. The contest will close at 1PM EST on August 3, 2015.

Mendes, meanwhile, recently opened up about being a "scrappy" kid and told Bar Down that he got into a few fights at school: "Believe it or not actually, I actually was in loads when I was in elementary school. Someone used to say to me, "why do you like, why do you put yourself into the problems," because I always found when I saw kids getting bullied on I would always step in, but then I would feel bad (laughs), but yeah I was definitely in more than 5 or 10 tussles. No, nothing as bad as it was in that video ('Stitches'), I really got beat up in that video (laughs)."
