Dionne Warwick has paid tribute to the daughter of cousin Whitney Houston after she passed away aged 22.

As previously reported, Bobbi Kristina Brown died on Sunday (July 26) after spending nearly six months in a medically induced coma.

She was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her home at the end of January, echoing her mother Whitney's untimely death in a bath in 2012.

Speaking on Watch What Happens Live just hours after the tragic news, Dionne Warwick said that Bobbi was a "good" girl.

She said: "She was a sweetheart...She will be missed, that's for sure. She was a good girl. She was a good little girl. She really was.

"It's not easy, that's for sure...I think it's because of our faith and strength in faith, knowing that Bobbi is now with a much, much bigger and more powerful person, or thing...than we'll ever know. She's in much better hands now."
